 Our Story
Jill Pestana struggled to find engaging, accessible resources on battery technology as a graduate student and Senior Staff Scientist. Frustrated by boring academic materials, she set out to change that in 2018, launching her YouTube channel, Across the Nanoverse. Her videos on topics like Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) quickly gained traction, with one now viewed by over 60,000 professionals and used in corporate training globally.
Seeing the demand for practical, career-focused battery education, Jill expanded her efforts—creating educational content, launching the Battery Industry Onboarding resource, and consulting globally, leading the North American battery consulting team at Accenture. After successful pilot courses in 2023 and 2024, she founded Nanoverse Battery Courses to deliver expert-led training for engineers, scientists, and professionals seeking to thrive in the growing battery industry.
